Find a Session

Browse and book available sessions through StartPlaying. Each listing provides the game format, schedule, price, requirements, and other details to review before reserving a seat. Booking and payments are handled through StartPlaying, along with its applicable cancellation and refund processes.

Join and Prepare

After booking, review the joining instructions and any campaign information you receive. This may include character guidelines, session expectations, and access details for Discord and Foundry Virtual Tabletop.

Discord is used for communication and scheduling; Foundry Virtual Tabletop is where sessions are played and character records are maintained. You’ll be given the information needed to prepare without unnecessary homework. Please review the instructions and arrive ready to participate.

Session Structure

Sessions are run with a consistent structure and pacing. Exploration, roleplay, tension, and combat are handled with deliberate transitions so the session feels cohesive rather than fragmented.

Each session is designed to contribute to the larger story while still feeling meaningful on its own.

During Play

During play, stay engaged, give others room to participate, and communicate clearly. The Game Master guides the session and makes rulings so play can continue; questions and constructive feedback can be discussed respectfully without derailing the table.

The focus is on immersion, consistency, and collaborative storytelling rather than treating moments as isolated game mechanics.

After the Session

Campaigns continue with the same core group over time, allowing relationships, storylines, and consequences to develop naturally across multiple sessions.

One-shots are structured to deliver a complete experience within a single session.

Future sessions, openings, and additional campaigns are managed through StartPlaying.

Communication and Expectations

Campaigns involve an ongoing commitment to a consistent group and schedule. One-shots offer a complete, standalone experience. Both are organized in advance and follow the same standards for preparation, communication, and respectful participation.

Let the group know about scheduling conflicts as early as possible through the designated Discord channel. For paid bookings, cancellations, and refunds, refer to the applicable StartPlaying listing and platform policies.
